At Electrolysis & Skin Care Clinic, we know how emotionally devastating and embarrassing hair can be; which is why for nearly twenty years Irina has been treating people of their unwanted hair.

Since 1875, proven safe and effective, electrolysis has been the only method cleared by the FDA and AMA to treat women, men and adolescents with all skin types who wish to permanently remove unwanted hair without negative side effects.

Electrolysis is the permanent destruction of human hair follicles by inserting a very fine needle into the hair follicle and gently applying a small amount of electricity; which, in turn causes cellular destruction and ultimately halting the ability of the hair follicle to produce a hair.

Electrolysis is not a one-time treatment. Multiple sessions are necessary to achieve permanent hair removal results.

Individual factors which cause hair growth include, but not limited to: hormones, heredity, certain medications, medical conditions, etc.

Electrolysis can safely and effectively remove unwanted hair from most body parts, including hairline, face, ears and nose (external hair only), neck, underarms, arms, back, legs, fingers and toes. Please note that bikini, buttocks and areola will only be done on women.

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

  • We ask that you stop all temporary methods of hair removal at least 2-3 weeks before starting electrolysis treatments. You will need to refrain from all temporary methods before and after all electrolysis treatments. **Note: using any temporary methods of hair removal during any electrolysis treatments will hinder the success of your results.**   

• You will be asked to wash off any products (i.e. makeup, lotions, deodorants, etc) in the treatment area before your appointment.   

• If you choose to use any anesthetic or numbing cream in the treatment area, please follow all manufacturer's directions for its proper use.   

• Please follow all post-care instructions which will be explained to you during your appointment.
