Electrolysis is the permanent destruction of human hair follicles by inserting a very fine needle into the hair follicle and gently applying a small amount of electricity; which, in turn causes cellular destruction and ultimately halting the ability of the hair follicle to produce a hair.

Electrolysis is not a one-time treatment. Multiple sessions are necessary to achieve permanent hair removal results.

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

   • We ask that you stop all temporary methods of hair removal at least 2-3 weeks before starting electrolysis treatments. You will need to refrain from all temporary methods before and after all electrolysis treatments. **Note: using any temporary methods of hair removal during any electrolysis treatments will hinder the success of your results.**
   • You will be asked to wash off any products (i.e. makeup, lotions, deodorants, etc) in the treatment area before your appointment.
   • If you choose to use any anesthetic or numbing cream in the treatment area, please follow all manufacturer's directions for its proper use.
   • Please follow all post-care instructions which will be explained to you during your appointment.
